Established in 2009, Miss Mop is an independent cleaning agency currently serving around
450 households. Miss Mop is run by Debi who takes great pride in providing a friendly and
reliable service to her customers. She makes an effort to meet every regular customer to
understand their needs and requirements, then allocates a cleaner based on suitability,
location and availability.
Miss Mop provides a full agency service, including a comprehensive cleaning trade insurance
policy covering the cleaners and the customer's home and possessions, and a replacement
cleaner service should a regular cleaner be off sick or on holiday. The agency maintains
regular contact with all customers and welcomes constructive feedback at every stage.
Miss Mop has around 140 self-employed cleaners registered to the agency. We take up two
independent written references for every cleaner and if they don’t have a recent Disclosure & Barring Service certificate, they must complete a criminal record check. Every cleaner is different, but then so is every home, so our job is to match the right cleaner with each household. They have all proven to be reliable, honest, hardworking and trustworthy.
If taking up a regular cleaning service, you will be introduced to a cleaner who then works for you. You pay your cleaner £12 per hour directly. The agency fee of £3 per hour (+ VAT) will be invoiced quarterly in advance. You never pay for anything you don’t receive, so if you are on holiday and miss a clean, your next invoice will be credited accordingly.
